The case is continuously gaining ground for a while when an official detected the statue of Lord Nandi facing toward the Wazukhana. According to the Hindu religion, the Shivling is also located in front of Lord Nandi’s face. As and when the investigating officer entered the Wazukhana he took no time to detect the Shivlinga he called the authorities of the mosque and enquiry about this, the authority initially claimed that it was a fountain.
Law enforcement getting more involved in the matter making it one of the hot topics in the nation. As the popularity of the matter starts rising supreme court decided to take over the matter. As of now, the videos and images of the mosque were submitted to the court in the morning hours of Monday 19th May 2022.
The petition has been filed by a person belonging to the Hindu community to allow the community to worship the Shivlinga inside the mosque complex. The report was submitted in three sealed cover folders. A memory device containing photos and videography of the mosque complex was issued to court. The information has been released by Vishal Singh, a commissioner appointed by the court.
In addition to this one of the lawyers associated with the investigation team asserted that the sacred Shivlinga was found under the Pond. The water of the pond is used for a Muslim tradition for “Wazoo” a ritual for purification before prayer ‘Namaaz’.
