The case is continuously gaining ground for a while when an official detected the statue of Lord Nandi facing toward the Wazukhana. According to the Hindu religion, the Shivling is also located in front of Lord Nandi’s face. As and when the investigating officer entered the Wazukhana he took no time to detect the Shivlinga he called the authorities of the mosque and enquiry about this, the authority initially claimed that it was a fountain.

In addition to this one of the lawyers associated with the investigation team asserted that the sacred Shivlinga was found under the Pond. The water of the pond is used for a Muslim tradition for “Wazoo” a ritual for purification before prayer ‘Namaaz’.
