American actor David Birney has sadly passed away. He was known for his appearance in the 1970s sitcom ‘Bridget Loves Bernie’ as struggling writer Bernie Steinberg. Reportedly, the actor took his last breath on Friday, April 29, 2022. David Birney was 83-year-old at the time of his demise. The film and television industry is mourning the actor’s sudden death and is paying him heartfelt tributes on social media. Meredith Baxter, David’s co-star, and ex-wife expressed her sadness at his death. Baxter said that her heart goes out to their children Mollie, Peter, and Kate.
