Faruqui was born on January 28, 1992, in Junagadh, Gujarat, to an Indian Muslim family. Because of the aftermath of the Gujarat riots in 2002, he and his father and three sisters relocated to Dongri, Mumbai, in 2007 to start a new beginning. When his father became ill, he was forced to labor for his family at the age of 17. While in school, he worked at a kitchenware store.

In her teenage, he worked as a graphic designer because his father was ill. He start gaining interest in comedy in 2017 through many OTT channels and videos were introduced in India, and he began working as a comic.

Munawar Faruqui is a stand-up comedian and rapper from India who is most known for his YouTube videos Dawood, Yamraaj & Aurat (2020), Ghost Story (2021), and Doctor & Engineer (2021).
During the sectarian riots in Gujarat in 2002, his home was completely destroyed. His mother committed suicide when he was 16 years old and live in Gujarat. His father, tired of his chaotic existence in Junagadh, relocated the family to Mumbai in 2007 to start over.
His father became ill and bedridden in 2008. As a result, at the age of 17, he was working in a shop. He has the responsibility for the marriages of his three sisters.
Faruqui worked as a utensil vendor, a salesman, in a shop before becoming a standup comic.
