The soccer stars wasted no time in sharing a series of loved-up photos to their respective Instagram pages, just hours after reuniting.
Matildas star Sam, 28, shared photos of herself and her girlfriend on the streets of New York City, captioning the post: ‘Mew York’.

Meanwhile, American soccer star Kristie, 31, posted a photo of Sam cuddling up to her as they sat in a restaurant, and wrote: ‘Babes in town’.
A second photo showed Sam holding up two ‘peace’ signs, while Kristie held two photo booth strips with them out in front of her.

Sam, who is also a forward for Chelsea in the FA Women’s Super League, confirmed her relationship with Kristie in August last year, shortly after splitting from fellow soccer star Nikki Stanton.
The confirmation came just days after Sam and Kristie sparked romance rumours by sharing a tender embrace on the soccer field at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Sam later uploaded a Polaroid photo of Kristie sitting on her lap as they shared a passionate kiss, tagging her girlfriend in the caption and adding a red heart emoji.
