Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, has mourned the lives of the victims who had been killed in an assault on a Catholic Church in his hometown of Owo, Ondo State on Sunday, fifth June 2022, PUNCH tales.
According to PUNCH, over 40 members of the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo Kingdom, Ondo State feared ineffective and loads of others injured after an assault by some armed males throughout the church.The assault on the church which took many lives has attracted many reactions on social media.
Taking to his official Twitter take care of, Rotimi Akeredolu talked about that he’s deeply saddened by the “satanic attack” carried out by the gunmen. He talked about that the assault is “satanic” and a extremely massive assault to the peace of the Owo Kingdom (the village the place the ugly incident occurred).
