Jose Enrique has asserted himself Twitter that it is “great news” that James Milner will sign a new contract at Liverpool.
The former left-back added that he “really deserves” his new one-year deal at Anfield.
At the age of 36, Milner will not be a regular at Liverpool but his value, especially off the pitch, is just as important as what the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah and Alisson Becker bring out on him.
