Sources confirm that three Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) campaign team members died on the spot while one sustained serious injuries in a car accident. The accident took place near Avani Hotel in Gaborone on Saturday around 9 PM. They all were traveling in Toyota Tazz which unfortunately collided with a Nissan Navara. As mentioned, it resulted in the three UDC members dying on the spot while one of them was severely injured.

Taro gave a brief detail of the horrifying accident that took many lives. Apart from Honlang Aran, not much information about the other deceased persons has come forward. As per the reports, Honlang Aran joined government service in 1993 as an LDC. He recently was promoted to UDC.
