When do the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent start?

The BGT live semi-finals air at 8pm on ITV from Monday, May 30, until Friday June 3, 2022.

Each night eight acts perform for viewer votes, with the most popular act heading straight through to the final.

The judges then pick who joins them from the next two most popular acts.

But if the judges vote falls on a tie, it goes back to the viewer vote, and the second act with the most votes then goes through to the final.

Eva and magician Keiichi Iwasaki were in the top three, with only one space left after Tom got through.

Each judge then voted for their favourite, starting with David who backed Eva.

Alesha said: “It’s like picking between your two children… I’m going to save Eva.”

Amanda said: “Both these acts are extraordinary but for me there’s a clear winner and that’s Eva.”

With three votes, Eva will head into the final with Tom.

Judges were full or praise for the schoolboy who took centre stage in the semi-final moments after the creepy witch act had left the audience and judges spooked.
