Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame will direct Dhanush’s next film. Captain Miller the film’s title, which released across India. The Dhanush-starrer introduced via an exciting video, and we can’t wait to release it! Dhanush recently announced the fantastic news on social media.
DHANUSH ANNOUNCES NEW FILM, CAPTAIN MILLER
He most recently seen in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re. Dhanush, Akshay Kumar, and Sara Ali Khan star in the love story. The film bypassed the theatres and will launch on Disney+Hotstar on December 24, 2021. Dhanush will now appear on Captain Miller’s show. The actor commented in response to the unveiling video, “Miller, Captain, This is going to be a lot of fun. It’s an honor to collaborate with @ArunMatheswaran and my brother @gvprakash @SathyaJyothi (sic).” In the background of the brief video, we can hear a fascinating whistling sound. Dhanush also seen riding a bike and covering his face with a scarf. Captain Miller a period piece set in the 1930s and 1940s Madras Presidency.

Karan Johar, who extended his best wishes to Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran, he also interested in the new announcement video. Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s assistant director was Arun Matheswaran. Rocky, starring Vasanth Ravi, released in theatres on December 23. The film received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both reviewers and audiences. Saani Kaayidham, his next movie, stars director Selvaraghavan (Dhanush’s elder brother) and Keerthy Suresh. Saani Kaayidham released in theatres in 2022.
