The person the little boy was talking to looked like a family member, suggesting that the little boy had witnessed the beating of his mother by his father.
What led to the feud between Miles and his little mom, Michelle Johnson, is unclear.
Basketball player Miles Bridges was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on a warrant.
A 24-year-old man named Miles Bridges was arrested on Wednesday in West Los Angeles on a warrant, Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Sergeant Matthew Cruz confirmed to The New York Times, but Cruz could not confirm further details about the warrant information on the case, or whether the person arrested is an NBA player.
Bridges is a forward for the Charlotte Hornets.
He played in 80 games in the 2021-22 season and will be a restricted free agent when the NBA’s free agency period begins Thursday afternoon, according to the league. “I hate that it’s gotten to the point where I can’t keep silent any longer,” Mychelle Johnson said in an Instagram post on Thursday. “I allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in any way possible, and traumatize our children for the rest of their lives.”
The photos appear to show various marks and bruises on various parts of Johnson’s body – including her face, arms, legs, neck, hands, wrists and back.
Johnson also appeared to share her medical form in the emergency room…diagnosed as “adult victim of physical abuse by male partner”.
The form said Johnson suffered “a strangulation attack, a concussion, a closed nasal fracture, rib bruises, multiple bruises, and a strained neck muscle”.
“I don’t need sympathy,” Johnson added. “I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else, I just want that person to be helped and my kids deserve better.”
